About the School of Sales
Our founder, Joel LeBendig, like most sales people, started in a sales role because he was attracted to the idea of being able to genuinely help people, earn more income for his family and control his own fate.
He loved working with people and solving their problems with products and services that he truly believed in. He liked solving the puzzle (and still does) of who needed what his company had to offer and working to find and make the right contact, ask the right questions, have the right conversations and ultimately close the deal. As such, he started honing his skills and looking for ways to get better. He read the books, he attended the seminars, and most of all he learned on the job by winning and losing deals. Lots of them.
Ultimately, it was in those lessons of winning and losing, that he began developing a methodology for selling successfully. That methodology at a high level, is very consultative, very strategic and very specific to each client. He learned from his more than 20 years of experience, what works, what doesn’t, how to build effective sales teams, train top salespeople and most importantly how to close more sales, for more money and better value for their clients.
After all this time helping individuals and companies alike, our founder launched School of Sales as a formal place for salespeople and sales leaders to come, learn, grow and get better at selling so they too, can earn more, exceed quota, and excel in their careers.
